THIS WEEK’S TIP: IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Most people think that communication is just talking. Communication is about understanding and being understood. Using this definition, I have found that communication skills are a definite distinguishing factor in success. Since most plans for success require and depend upon the cooperation of others, great communication skills are an absolute necessity for continued and consistent progress. And, as you know if you’ve been a subscriber of mine for awhile, continued and consistent progress is the basis for all achievement. Make it a part of your personal development plan to improve your ability to understand what others are saying (verbally and nonverbally) and to communicate your points, messages, desires, etc, more clearly and persuasively.
THIS WEEK’S AFFIRMATION: In all interactions, it is my dominant desire that I understand and be understood. Therefore, I consciously seek and apply new ways to improve my communication skills.
