It’s another Magnificent Monday!
You have been blessed to see the start of another glorious week. The slate has been wiped clean (of the good and bad). You have another opportunity to BE MORE and DO BETTER. This week can be your best week ever! Remember, success is just a string of successful weeks tied together.

THIS WEEK’S TIP: Take Care of What You’ve Got
Answer this question. If you had a bushel of apples to give to whom ever you choose, would you give it to a person who is diligently and wisely using all of the apples they already have, or to the person with a pile of untouched apples that are rotting? I don’t know about you, but I would give the apples to the person who is demonstrating they will wisely use the apples, and not waste them.
I think that’s the way it works with all of life’s resources…the “apples” go tothose who will take care of and use them. Many times we ask for more of something when we aren’t taking care of what we already have. I’ve seen people ask for a bigger home, when the one they have is messy and poorly maintained. I’ve seen people ask for more money, when they don’t wisely invest the money (no matter how little) they have. I’ve seen people ask for more clients, when they haven’t taken care of or fully explored the potential for additional business with clients they already have. I’ve seen people ask for a new job, when they are underperforming at the one they have.
They believe that their behavior will change once they have the object of their desires. I believe this is “putting the horse before the cart.” Your behavior must change before the object of your desire can come. Again, would you give more of something to someone who isn’t using or taking care of what they have? To paraphrase one my favorite Bible passages: Only when you are truly faithful over your few will you be made ruler over many.
THIS WEEK’S AFFIRMATION: Everyday, I take care of and wisely use all of my resources.
